
Sri Sathya Sai Global Council USA - Centenary Pilgrimage
In celebration of the centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s birth, we are organizing a special pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam. This pilgrimage will be a momentous occasion, offering devotees an opportunity to deepen their spiritual connection and honor the legacy of our beloved Swami.
We invite all devotees across the USA to join this sacred pilgrimage, 100 Years of Pure Love’, as we come together in devotion and service, honoring the legacy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Key Dates:
Pilgrimage Dates: 11th – 13th July (arrive latest 9th July, as mandatory orientation meeting is on Sunday, 10th July at 10:30 AM after Darshan)
Important Information:
- All participants must stay within the ashram and attend the mandatory orientation meeting and the devotional, SSSE Offering practice sessions.
- The pilgrimage will include Vedam chanting, devotional offering, SSSE Play, service opportunities and visits to sacred sites significant in Swami’s life.
- More details on the program schedule will be shared in the coming months.
Travel & Accommodation Details:
- If you wish to travel in a group, please contact your Center President, who will coordinate with the regional team to connect you with others traveling from your area.
- Arrival: Please plan to arrive before the evening of July 9th, for SSSE and Devotional program preparation and mandatory orientation.
- Departure: The final program will be evening darshan on July 13th – please book your departure after this time.
- Accommodation: Submit your Ashram Arrival & Departure Dates via the form for accommodation. Do not book ashram accommodations online, as we have a designated area reserved for our group.
- Ensure that you have a valid visa for India and that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
- If you are not an Indian citizen and do not have an OCI/PIO card, please complete Form C and bring a printed copy to the ashram’s accommodation office.
- For accommodation check-in, please bring Passport, Indian Visa or OCI/PIO card and Two passport-size photos.
Accommodation:
- Families will be accommodated in a room. Those traveling alone will be accommodated with other devotees based on gender. If you are a room donor, then you will have your own room. You do not need to make advance reservations for rooms inside the ashram. The pilgrimage planning team will block rooms and the accommodation office will have a pilgrimage attendee list. Any additional guests joining from India will not be guaranteed accommodation.
- You are strongly encouraged to plan to arrive at the accommodations office during their regular office hours between 8 am and 8 pm. We are unable to make arrangements for you to enter the ashram and get accommodation once the ashram gate/accommodation office is closed.
- Please do not reserve ashram accommodations online with the ashram, but rather through our group, as we will be allotted a specific accommodation area for the entire duration.
- Any additional guests joining from India will not be guaranteed accommodation.
Pilgrimage planning committee is placing a bulk order of sarees and scarfs for the three-day program. Will share the information about how to purchase these for the event.
